About the C2 Corvette Model:
The Corvette is America's oldest official sports car, with a bold tradition of building a 2-seat, performance-oriented vehicle for over 66 years. The C2 Generation, comprising Corvette models from 1963 to 1967, is widely considered among the most desired by classic car collectors worldwide. This is due to their beautifully sculpted body lines and improvements such as independent suspension, 4-wheel disc brakes, and various engine options. Convertibles consistently outnumbered coupes by nearly 2 to 1, making coupes highly desirable and rarer to find on the market, especially since coupes are more likely to feature air conditioning.
This sharp Corvette underwent a frame-up restoration around 2000/2001. It retains a solid, no-hit body with all factory bonding strips in place and very good fitment and gaps on the headlight buckets and doors. All original LOF Soft-Ray glass remains in place, except for a new replacement windshield. The interior has seen zero modifications, and all features are in full working order, including power windows, the factory radio and power antenna, the electric clock, all dash instrumentation, air conditioning, headlight motors, dash/courtesy lights, and all safety items.
