Revisions to the exhaust system added 5 extra horsepower to all models, while a low-restriction dual snorkel intake provided another 5 hp to the L82 performance variant.
High-back bucket seats became standard, and the standard rear axle ratio increased from 3.08 to 3.55 for improved acceleration. Sales soared at dealerships nationwide.
